
Souhail Boussetta is currently a scientist in the coupled earth system modelling group working on the land surface model development, climatological fields processing and model uncertainty. He is member of the Global Land Atmosphere System Study (GLASS) panel on land surface modelling and data assimilation and took part in various international projects among which the European Geoland2 and ImagineS projects, the African Water Cycle Coordination Initiative (AfWCCI) and the Global Energy and Water Cycle Experiment-Coordinated Enhanced Observing Period (GEWEX-CEOP) project. He completed his PhD at the University of Tokyo where he was later appointed as assistant professor. His scientific production is supported by more than 50 international peer reviewed publications, he is also reviewer for several international journals including Remote Sensing of Environment, Journal of Geophysical Research and Hydrology and Earth System Sciences.
